    ohm test on a charge coil results are backwards from what the book says.

    i did a resistance test on a charge coil for a two stroke yamaha. the test results are backwards from what the book calls for. brown/red is suppose to be 191-288 ohms and the blue/red is 64-96 ohms. the results i got where br/r 88 ohms and blue/r was 233 ohms. what does this mean

    Still having trouble with 90hp 1999 2-stroke yamaha spark fails.

    During spark test the spark on all three stops even though the engine is still cranking. What causes the spark to quit. Symptoms are out of the whole is horrible plows. w.o.t is only 4000. book says 4500-5500. when first fired up if you put it in gear it stalls. carbs are clean like brand new...

    '99 yamaha 2-stroke 90 h.p. spark fails on all three after a sec and a half.

    i get spark out of all three individual coils at the end of the spark plug wire for a sec and a half. then it quits on all three.     Mercruiser 5.7 Alpha One sea water pump

    I have to replace the sea water pump on a mercruiser mcm 5.7 v8 alpha one. What are the steps? I can just pop off the trim rams and drop just the lower half of the outdrive like and outboard lower unit right?
