    I saw this one at the consignment that says it's for a 454. Looks like a seakamp maybe? Has the built in surge tank and plumbing that I believe splits the raw water outlet into 2 for the risers. Thinking if this measures in at ~ 5 x 21 it just might be the ticket.

    Bad news on the heat exchanger I have... It's only 4" diameter by 27" long so it must've been a half system HX. 😒 I'll need to source a good deal on a larger used HX for this full system.

    Wow, thanks for the awesome detailed writeup on how to set this up, I really appreciate it. I can picture what your saying here. I am going to draw up a rough sketch of the proposed plan before I build it so I don't screw up the flow design and waste expensive hoses. Just got the F6 pump in this AM.

    Haven't decided where to mount it yet but good to know that on the wall is a good option. I do prefer keeping the motor as uncluttered as possible so mounting coolant res on the bulkhead would be sweet.

    Anyone here plumb in a separate expansion tank before? My heat exchanger is very simple and does not have one built in. Prob have to make it myself so I have a rad cap and an overflow tank. Never seen one before so hoping to find a pic of a setup like that to emulate.

    So, out of the crank pump users- do you use a stabilizer bracket? I have seen them run with only the hoses and the input flange holding it in place. Is that normal?
