    Charging system issues Merc........

    96 5.7 GM Acts as if the belt is loose, it's not. The gage indicates charging at idle speed or just above. Drops to discharge as rpm increase. Am replacing the six year old battery today. The question is will a bad battery effect the charging system as described or do I need to dig further...

    SBN looses the big one!!!! UPDATE: Another Big'n Hooked!!

    Initial reports of fishing legend SBN loosing “the big hook-up” have been confirmed. As he was recently spotted reclining in his craft recovering from the extended battle. Looks like the tackle survived the battle. Here's hoping SBN will be "Back in the chair" battling the next big hook-up...
