    Can someone tell me how to get tilt & trim out of j115ez78 mount have 3 bolts starboard and 3 bolts port and top pin removed it is loose but don’t seem to have enough room to get out thanks for any help :eek:

    tach operation

    i have a j140tlcte 1983 model johnson the tach stoped working checked rectifier was bad so ordered one meanwhile i read to move the tach wire to the other yellow supply wire from stator tach worked while i waited on new rectifier can someone explain how this worked?:confused:
