    My 16SS was an enjoyable build. Really liked the layout for fishing with a modified front casting deck and removable pedestal seats throughout. I went with US Composites epoxy for my transom, Spar on the decking covered by Nautolux vinyl.

    I was trying to look back at old pictures to see if I had something showing the bolts or holes in the consoles and couldn't find anything. I seem to recall having a bolt or two on the side panels as well. It really didn't seem to give up much structural integrity without the braces present.
