    Saw an uptick of bucks actively chasing doe on cam at night. Then it was like a switch was thrown and they started moving in daylight. Good luck when you get out.

    Managed this ten this morning. Was my farthest archery kill to date at 40 yards. He only ran about 50 yards till he dropped. With two deer in the freezer my season isover.

    That’s when a doe goes into estrous, think dog in heat. Deer can smell hundreds of times better than humans and they will come from all around when they catch that scent. They go crazy.     Had a hot doe at one of my spots last night. A parade of bucks all hoping to get some action. Lots more pictures, this went on from 9:30 last night till 5:30 this morning. Unfortunately I can’t get out this morning to hunt.

    My son and I doubled up on Monday with him taking a buck and myself a doe. His buck ran into a ravine that was like 70* steep. What a pain. Couple more weeks of archery until the orange army hits the woods.

    While scrounging around for old motorcycle parts in an old barn I found one of those rods. Had a reel on it as well. Think it was called a king. Was pretty neat but did have surface rust. Gave it to a guy I worked with.

    Posted one of these pics before. If anything this dude is consistent on the path he chooses to take making his rounds. The similarities are almost exact. 15 hours apart.

    I was in a tree 10 yards away from this cam when this pic was taken. He walked right under me. Was pitch black, had no idea, buck or doe till the pic hit my phone😂. Had a good day today. my son and I doubled up. I shot a doe and he shot a decent buck, two separate properties.

    Reading your endorsement of Duratracs. I had a set of Duratracs on a 4WD truck. Had high hopes for them. They didn’t wear very well. Got noisy and fast tread wear. I was disappointed with them.
