    1st of all... I love your expressive writing... 2nd... serial number of your engine... but what I gather from the year and a v6 TBI engine... here is a pic of an 1995 TBI engine... you can see its mounted to the port side riser... hope this helps some.

    2005 mercruiser 3.0 TKS fuel problems I think??

    ok here is what is going on.... problem --->engine will not keep running with out a LOT of throttle when starting and to keep it running... thought we had a problem with the anti siphon valve (we did open the filler cap just incase it was a clogged vent line)... so we disconnected the fuel...

    incorrect on the 4.3's... they go to the bottom port side of pan... can you see the pic I posted prior? can you see that they connect to the bottom of pan... yes the block has a provision for a threw block dipstick but it is blocked off with a brass cap by mercruiser... I have attached a pic...

    I'm not sure on the 3.0 but my 4.3 circa 1996 has the "threaded" dipstick connector at the top and I know for fact it will drain all the oil out threw it... it connects to the very bottom of the pan... I have attached a pic of the bottom of the pan and the arrow shows where the dipstick tube...

    what plugs for my 1979 merc...

    i have a 1979 merk 20 HP that has the champion L78v plugs in it now but i dont like the "ski" plug type (flat plug no electrode)... what would be a sutable champion replacement? any help would be great!!
