    I thought about that, but then found a head at $30 USD, I just ordered that one seller claims it's flat, mine already passed an over heating years ago so I think maybe the change will also help.

    Maybe the comparison is not fair but my old Merc 50 hp with 4 cylinder trolls and idles much better than my force 85hp 3 cylinder, it simply sound and feels smoother and more even, but I'm also aware that force is not as good as Mercury.

    Not yet, next week I'll go again to do the compression test with the spark plugs socket, but I think this engine looks very clean I'm positive about it.

    Went to see the boat, nice looking upholstery and seats in decent shape for its age, the owner did take us for a ride I was able to test it, motor started rough but once warm worked good easy 40-42 mph. I checked for gear lube and there was no water and not milky so I guess it's ok, bilge pump...
