    Draining of FWC System

    I have a full FWC system. I need to remove my risers to check the gaskets. If I pull the large hose off the circ pump will that be enough to drain it? I am trying to avoid having to pull the hoses off the bottom of the manifolds.

    Temperature Rising

    Noticed the temperature getting a little higher this year. If I cruise at ~3600RPM it runs ~160-170*. If I push it up to 4000RPM it could go passed 190*. Been about 5yrs since I replace the risers (full FWC'd system) and I'm in salt water. Sounds like I need to replace the risers this fall.......

    Had the boat out for the 3rd shakedown trip. Seems like the RPM's are surging +/- 100 RPM's at various levels.......1200-3800. Think I need a carb rebuild? It's a Edelbrock 1409.
