    Thanks cptbill. Another to add to the list. I'd assume anything that is SHC GL-5 75w-90 is acceptable. Agree to change this every year on the drive unit no matter the hours, its not worth the risk. Thanks

    How do you know when to replace the tensioner or belt?

    Thanks both. As stated the tensioner looks fine, no cracks or play and solid when pushing against a prybar. Is it possible to get another belt, possibly a size down (few mm)? Someone at the boat yard pointed this out when the engine was running and suggested the tensioner. Thanks
