    1990 johnson 8hp help!!

    i think its a 1990 need cowl for it can anyone piont me in right direction! model#J8RESR serial#B8444601 i think the year is right but not sure when we bought it? looks better with cowl on it ,thanks for the help in advanced!

    evinrude 4 year

    stopped at a garage sale today and picked up evinrude 4 and 6gallon tank and gas line ,runs good !but dont now anything about it ,model #4536A and the serial is E0003295 can anyone tell me the year and any problems they have ! greatly appreciate any help!only paid $50.00for everything !:eek:

    1985 force 50hp lower unit

    ive finaly put the boat in the water and ran great ! when i got home i had oil all over the lower unit from the tilt trim down towards the boat side?only on the the lower unit only?is this normal and by the way this site is great !learning alot !:confused:

    1985 force 50hp cranking over & over

    starter clicks then when it engages it wont disengage stays turning over until i pull positive cable off is this do to starter, allready put new silenoid on it ?

    1985 force back fires

    Just picked up a bayliner yr 2000,has a 1985 50hp force and i have spark gas ! pulled fly wheel off and it had a sheered woodruff key ,replaced ! now all it does is turn over and back fireonly started once ,after we replaced key what could be my problem ? Thanks in advance for the help!!:confused:
