Silliest Question on Fuel Mix - Thank you for your patience

Agreed My thought on this is bushings have a clearance that needs to be filled with oil to perform as designed. Oil quality is not at play as much as oil quantity for a bushing. Less oil results in more friction. Sometimes old school technology needs to be treated as it was designed to be.

Yea there will always be a lot of different opinions on this topic. For me when comes to bushings skimping on oil is just asking for problems.

    New Stuff on Vehicles likes/dislikes

I’m on Martha’s Vineyard Being a relatively small island the EV’s make a lot of sence here. Servicing them has been a challenge but it’s starting to become possible to find a shop that can work on them.

    New Stuff on Vehicles likes/dislikes

How do you like the Rivian? They are all over the place especially the truck but several others are pretty popular as well. I haven’t heard anything bad so I’m guessing things are going well.

    Best Jet Drive

I remember my buddy’s dad had a jet boat in the 80’s that had a 454 in it that had the Berkeley jet drive. I remember him having to work on it pretty often. If I recall it was something with the steering that was always giving him trouble. It was a lot of fun. It wasn’t crazy fast but it...

I have always set floats level with no trouble but others may have better info. Some people use nail polish on the plugs. I have used form a gasket on a few that I was suspicious of and had no problems with it.

    Trailer Tongue Too Long?

My sister was supposed to take me for my drivers test and never showed up so my girlfriend took me in her car. I had hadn’t driven a stick yet but I somehow managed to pull it off. I still have not been able to get my daughter to learn. It’s a never ending battle. I taught my son and he only...

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

I have never been over that way but I worked with a girl from Oregon and she had some great stories and pics and it looks like a beautiful place. Maybe someday I’ll make it over that way.

    Radar tower removal.

I worked for an electrician for awhile and would always leave 1 if not 2 extra strings in the conduit. He always gave me crap for wasting time on it. Several years later he reached out and thanked me for saving him time on the jobs he had gone back to to add things.

    Trailer Tongue Too Long?

I was humbled by a short trailer not long ago. I definitely need some practice. I can stick the landing with the boat just about anywhere but my buddy’s little lawn trailer just about gave me a stroke.
