    Wellcraft 1987, 5.7L merc. turn the key and starter slave solinoid clicks but starter won't go, turn key a couple of times then starter goes, starter solinoid or slave solinoid? All wire connections have just been cleaned pos. and neg. all 1,000 of them.

    Belt number or size

    mercruiser 1987, eng. 5.L eng. ser.0B683659 need water pump/alt. belt number or size, picked up new boat and things real messed up, automotive stuff used wrong parts belt too thin rubbing on bottom of pulley trying to get things back to what should be on the rig.

    Loud Engine sound

    5.7 Merc, drive ser. # 0B683659 run port eng. quiet, run starb. loud like no muffer? why? Also where can i find the spec's for this engine timing info.

    Type of Out Drive?

    1987 Wellcraft Monte Carlo, twin 5.7 merc. need to know model of out drive, have been told Bravo. just before they came out with the Bravo 1. Also gear ratio 1:65-1 or 1:50-1 thinking of putting four blade 20" for cruise and lower rpm on plane, thoughts?
