    btw lots of utubes on the subject. may as well change old plug wires (use metallic strand wire 7mm ONLY!) NO CARBON STUFF and change the impeller !! see video... loks hard to do but it is easy !! try not to damage the base gasket ... if you order a new one...Carefull patterns differ ...

    solid ......but solid as in multi strand wire for flexibility . copper is nice but anything metallic will work fine. 18 inches or so will get you near 0 ohms resistance compared to carbon stuff !

    Coils available today are dirt cheap (Amazon) & seem to have a wide range of secondary resistance values ...sometimes 4K sometimes I have seen some at 8-9 Kohms . Try to stick with OEM $$$$ 8-9Kohms may mean more turns to induce move volts or it may simply mean cheaper China...
