Does this look like anything that belongs to a 1994 V4?
While I was working on my thermostats on my 1994 Johnson 90hp v4, I came across this on the ground right below the motor where I was working.
To me it looks like an electrical connector of some sort.
.
I guess I should have put a dime next to it for size reference.
The piece is about 3/4 inch long and about 3/16 wide and about the thickness of a blade fuse. That's actually what it looks to me. But I just want to make sure if someone knows it's definitely nothing they've seen on a V4.
Did you unhook any Wiring Harnesses/Connectors while you were accessing the Thermostats?
Before I take anything apart, I always check the Floor/Counter for anything already there.
That is part of a fuse
One leg of the fuse with the fuse bit fizzed off . Not exactly the same coz I wasnt going to scroll thru all the images
Those 2 parallel scratch marks in the bottom pic are from the socket it plugs into
Yep, that's it. It may have just been laying there under something.
Either way, Not a 94 Johnson 90hp part. 94 uses traditional glass fuses.
Moving on...
