Hey guys kinda new to the forum but i have a 1987 2.5L Mercruiser With and Alpha One Outdrive that is overheating. When I take it out on the water and at a idle the boat runs anywhere from 130 to 150 degrees once i open it up the temperature just starts climbing all the way up to 220 degrees and...
Just had to replace the water impeller on my 120 mercruiser alpha one outdrive...now start the boat and when I shift it into forward or reverse the engine dies...guess I didn't get the shift switch back right???...anyone guide me through the steps to fix this..thanks!!
Recently bought a 1987 16' stingray with a 2.5 mercruiser on it...boat ran fine when i took it out for a test drive and then again a few days later...but took it out yesterday and it wouldnt plane out...has a 14.8X17 prop...any ideas?
