I have a 1986 9.9hp long shaft Yachtwin. Water is somehow leaking into the engine housing. I am getting a pretty good stream from the telltale, but shouldn't the interior of the engine housing be somewhat dry? The water does leak out the bottom of the housing, so it's not "flooding" the engine...
