    1997 Evinrude 25 model E25RMEDC

    Changed out complete water pump housings twice, had a heck of a time getting water flow. Motor still runs hot and runs like crap popping and such. Did compression check and got 120 on all three cylinders. I also pulled the thermostat and I don't feel this is the problem. Any suggestions?

    1995 Volvo Penta SX M Lower case to Upper case

    :confused: I have put in new orings but, should I also use varnish or a gaskit sealer on the mating surfaces when putting these together?

    I am trying to replace the clutch cone and was unable to get nut off the upper shaft. I then pulled the out drive off and seperated the lower from the upper and removed the pinion gear assembly. I thought that I would be able to slide the upper shaft, bearings and gears out the top. This isn't...
