I recently purchased a 1985 Evinrude 20 hp outboard. After I got it home I noticed that the bolt which holds the tilt slide had been sheared off in the housing.
I started to drill it out and extract it but had no luck. Anyway, I have marred up the threads now and the 1/4 inch bolt...

I have a 14 foot Alumacraft purchased a week ago. I noticed the wood transom was gone. After much research (mainly from this site) I have my plywood laminated, cut out from using old wood transom as a template and have sealed the new wood transom.
It now is ready to be installed...
