I am starting the engine and warming it with the fast idle lever. When i close the lever for normal idle speed the engine runs for a while but suddenly stops. After that it is very difficult to start the engine.

Is it possible to rip out everything that has to do with the VRO and petrol pump and install a normal electric petrol pump instead?
Possibly an auto pump. What about the pressure?
