    89 Alpha won't go back on. ...Help!

    I have an 89 Glastron SS 195 Sierra 3.0 , Alpha 1 outdrive. I tried aligning the shift shafts back up and the lower will not go straight again. I don't want to force it and wind up breaking it. What am I missing? Should I just take it to the shop?

    I recently posted about having a try tilt issue, well I'm wondering if I might have another issue instead of the pump being the culprit. Is it possible that there may actually be a line partially blocked, if so how can I check while they're still on the boat. .....any ideas or suggestions?

    I have replaced my trim cylinders, and the pump today and the new problems are cylinders go up very slow and the outdrive won't stay up. Frustrated beyond belief.
