    i got a gray wire coming to remote controlbox and its connected to the red wire in the box... :confused: it does not look like its connected there orignally its a powershift 2 box and where does it go on engine?? any help? and no manual coz its a friends motor and just checking for charging...

    swim platform/water in cowl..

    im beginning to wonder if some of this summers problems comes from my platform....it kicks up some water when going on plane and find the cowling foam wet and some waterdrops on engine.... how mutch water does the motor tolerate before giving h***? my car engine has gone thru swamps only air...

    cdi test

    has anyone a way to test cdi units.... i got a 85 mod suzuki 140 and have testet every pice exept cdi....it misfires like h***on load..it dosent have enough "omp"of high voltage... any help please... cooling and carbs are ok and coils measures w/speck.. starts and rpm up to 3000 perfect...

    what year? old evinrude 6hp

    what year coud the motor i bought be? evinrude 6hp W/light coil. mod nr:66B66A sn.815631.. easy start works fine but maybe a new impeller... anybody knows if it has triggers or electronic ignition? thanks for any help. keep em running!

    coils/resistors

    if you remove resistor in plugcap so resitance drops from14000 ohms to 2500 ohms in sekundary winding mesured from plug to ground. how woud this affect coil/spark?? warmer/colder-no/stronger spark? sombody got any idea? hope someone can help cause it woud save me bying a new coil..expensive...

    fuel effiency?

    i got a 20 feet daycruiser with a 85mod 140 suzy total weigth of 3300 pounds. when i cruise at 20 knots i use 6.6 gallon a hour.3800rpm prop13x19.max rpm only4400. also have a 13.75x15v/cup that turn 5500 but have to use 4400 for 20 knots and the engine makes a mutch more noice....no prob...

    suzuki misses at load

    got a 85mod dt140 that misses and stumbles at a few seconds intervals from 2000-4000rpm and sometimesbegins to die but picks up at once when i hit the throttel..worst when warm..ideling good .new plugs and correct timing. air leakes in fuel lines/pump? hope to get it fixedbefore my vacation...
