'87 4 cyl mercruiser.
I'd like to add a choke cable so I can control the choke. Old engines like this actually need less fuel and only partial choke when the weather gets colder.
Has anybody nicely installed a manual choke/throttle control for use when starting?

I picked up a SR Seville 19 open bow fully knowing it would need full stringer replacement, but it had all the mechanicals just gone over, new bellows, runs nicely, so it was worth it for the outdrive and prop alone.
