i have a 1982 2.0 liter 150. i need to know what gear ratio it is. i assume it is a small gear case because the prop for my v4 evinrude would fit if the splines were the same. i owned an 1988 2.0 liter 150 also and the prop i used on it is to large. spline the same but barrel of prop to large.
i have a 1988 evinrude 140 looper and sometimes the qiuckstart will not disengage. most of the time it works fine. i would say 2 out of ten starts it will stay in quickstart . even with engine already warmed up i can turn off the motor and restart and it will continue to stay in quickstart...
