    I think I’m getting shorter and losing power with age as well. Battery power is taking over. The next town over from me is trying to put a ban of gas leaf blowers. I’m sure if it passes other towns will follow.

    I got one last year because everyone is always complaining noise where I work. We get an hour to an hour and half out of a battery depending on how high the grass is.

    Probably a good move. In the mean time you can get your battery load tested at most any auto parts store for free if your interested. Keep us posted.

    Just to add my 2 cents. If you don’t know what you’re looking at or looking for I would suggest tearing it down and taking the block to a machine shop to look over everything including the crank and bearing to get the whole picture and an estimated cost. Jmo Best of luck

    That’s my motor and it was free for the taking😂 Sorry had to try and scare ya. My neighbor was mowing his lawn one day and left the mower by the side of the road while he went a got drink. Came back and it was gone. I believe you have shear/ drive pin in the prop. May need a little persuasion...

    I made a puller from a mini golf flag holder 40 so E odd years ago and it’s still working fine. There is more than one way to skin a cat. I’m sure if you look on the web you can find some homemade puller ideas if you don’t t have the funds to add to your tool collection.
