    Evinrude 40 year, no id plate, please help

    I have a 89-91 Evinrude 40 VRO( I believe), that doesn't have an ID sticker. I've searched this forum and couldn't find the answer to this. There is a core plug that has a serial number(or at least I think so), which reads G2510134. I found all the charts that decipher the year from the model...

    3.0 no spark no crank

    I have a 2007 Volvo 3.0gl that won't crank. I put power to the start wire on the starter, got it to crank, but no spark. Here's what I know... -Power going into engine harness at purple wire, but no power at ignition fuse in fuse box, and of course no power from there to coil. -Engine starts...
