    1975 7.5 Merc Making Noise At Top Speed

    IM new thanks for having me. My 7.5 had the impeller go out now it seams to make a hammering noise at top speed only. Hope I didnt run it to hot and goof something up but kinda sounds like it. It only happens at top end. What could this be. Thanks!
