Like the title says, I have a 96 Rinker 180 with a 3.0 Merc and Alpha outdrive. Bought the boat last year and has always had really tought steering since i have owned it, and figured it was about time to fix it. I have searched the forums about steering issues and I hear alot of responses...
So heres the deal, bought a boat from an owner who was open about the issues with the boat. It has a cracked block. Last summer tried to have it worked on to see if it was just an exterior crack turned out after some epoxy work and running the boat got water in the oil and a shot block.
So...
