Hi.
I?m looking for a used boat, and some of them has this 3.7L mercruiser.
Is this a bad engine that blows up all the time, or is it ok?
What is your opinion?

I have some charging problems with my engine, so I had it started yesterday in a barrel. Today when i tilted my engine I noticed fluids coming out the water intake, well thats just water i thought. It wasn?t, it was fuel.. How can that possibly end up in my water intake?

Can a bad battery cause wrong reading on the rev counter?
The rev signal comes from the stator that also feeds the voltage regulator "yellow wires".
Or can it be a faulty stator?
Charging voltage looks fine.
