    Help, crankshaft thrust washer direction

    1959 18 hp johnson 0/b. I am rebuilding this, the crank thrust washer (bottom side of crank) has two grooves in it on one side, do the grooves go toward top or bottom of crank.

    59' 18hp Johnson parts

    I just picked up a 59' 18hp johnson model# FD13. I am going to tear it down this winter and rebuild it. Does anyone know where I can get a rebuild kit, or somewhere I can get the powerhead parts? Thanks
