    what shaft length for trolling motor for 18' horizon

    Hi I have a 1999 18' Four Winns H10. I want to install an electric trolling motor on bow and am wonder what shaft length I need.Also is a 55lbs 12volt system gonna be enough to move the boat. Any ideas and input would be appreciated;)

    1999 four winns h180 top speed?

    Hello all New to boating so be aware very inexperienced. I just picked up 1999 h180 four winns with Volvo 3.0 i/o. it has a 14-1/2"x21 prop which max rpm is 4600 and speed is 36mph. I changed to extra boat prop 14-1/2x19 prop and rpmwent to 4800 and lost speed to about 32mph. I have trimmed up...
