Was cruising along on beautiful Yale Lake in Cougar, WA last Sunday.....my trim gauge fluttered and then pegged itself in the up position.
Trim still works fine.
Any ideas on the gauge?

yah, yah, I know....label...
One end is easy (says the guy who has never done it), it's just a clamp that is easily accessible.
HOWEVER....the other end terminates in the outdrive somewhere.
Any hints on how that other end works?
Any other helpful you may suggest during this "operation"?

3 weeks ago, on the 3rd trip of the season. Engine overheats and I have to get towed to shore of the mighty Columbia.
Checked impeller....toast. Replaced it.
Also blew a hole in the verticle exhaust bellow. Replaced it.
Checked oil, a tad...
