    1988 19.5 cuddy with 4.3 2brrl Mercruiser 184 drive. Came with a 19 P x 14.5 D I got only 30mph @ 4000 rpms and it can rev to 5k easy. I figured i needed more pitch so i went and got a 21P x 14 1/4 D and lost 2mph so i guess the 1/4 less in dia offset the 2" in pitch and made it worse. hard to...

    I can't make out the numbers on the timing cover tab for the timing light. I know each point is 2* i believe there is 5 points on it like a zig-zag. is 0* on the 1st -top point or the second?     HP / Cid ? CYL ?

    Have a 91 3.0 which is 181 CID 135 hp, Have an older early 80s Merc 4cyl says 140 on the valve cover and an older OMC says 120 on the valve cover. My ? is Are the second two engines the HP or The CID ? If it's HP Whats the CID on them? is the 140 like a 3.1 or 185+/_ CID? or? thanks

    Prop recomendation? Engine swap

    Have 1986 Fourwinns 21.5"cuddy, Swaped 230 hp 305 SB gm to a newer vortec 350 SB close to 300hp. Alpha one Merc drive. The boat has a 17* with the engine swap what should i go to a 19* or 21* Boat weighs 3200 lb dry weight. WOT?
