My motor just started acting up. It had been running great and out of no where when cruising across the lake and near top speed, which isnt very fast for a 25hp, it acts as if it was thrown into nuetral and the RPM's get real high. When I let off the throttle and the RPM's come down it goes back...
Can anyone tell me the size of the bolts that holds the starter on my 86 mariner 25hp? I lost both of them. I found online where they are a M8 x 55 but it doesnt give me a length.

I want to paint my Aluma Craft boat. Why steps do i need to take to make a long lasting paint job? I have never painted aluminum before. And certainly not an aluminum boat! I appreciate all of your input.
