I am brand new to this forum and new to boating all together. I aquired a boat with a 1969 Johnson 55hp model # 55ES69 . The motor is stuck in gear and will not start. There is new throttle linkage and shifter parts recently installed. Any ideas on what is wrong would be greatly appreciated.
