After the last time I parked the boat and trailer (backed in) I noticed after I unhooked that the surge brake seemed to be stuck all the way into the tongue of the trailer.
I tried pressing the release under the connection point. It moved freely but did not release the cylinder or...

I have a new boat and new trailer.
The trailer has "trailer buddy" bearing covers.
I am wondering if anyone has experience with these, and if they are similar to bearing buddies?
I was going to repack/add grease to the bearings but not sure how these work.
