thats a great idea, the fuel hose is new from the tank and its been removed and flushed didnt see anything. Runs great at wide open throttle with high fuel demand. Maybe we need to resize the accelerator pump
Well my excitement over the water pressure issue was short lived, apparently that was not the problem it just improved it marginally.
I went ahead and added another water inlet to the bottom of the boat and just T'd it into the supply line. Helped a little bit but still takes a long time...

Finally found the problem, piece of impeller stuck in the cool fuel fitting. The hole in the fitting is only the size of your finger, even though the hose is 1.5 inch. So the v shaped piece of impeller perfectly wedged into the hole but allowed enough water through to function.

Well i stuck a camera on the transom to check out the thru-hull fitting and doesnt seem like a problem but its hard to get a good angle on it. Can see a little grease dripping off the steering arm from above, at first i thought it was rust but when i zoomed in its just grease. im gonna focus on...
hope you got the merc OEM part and not the cheap china copys, the price is tempting and they look identical but the materials are super cheap and dont last./
yeah i posted a video of the water flow through the transom. I hooked up a garden hose inside the boat and back flushed it. Seems like enough flow but if i had an air leak it would not show up in this kind of test. Maybe i should look on the inside of the transom to see if the fitting is leaking...
