I have a 1973 Glastron V156 runabout. At the back of the boat on the righthand side, just in front of the transom is a metal flange about 8 inches in diameter that has a threaded tube inserted into it. The steering rod runs through this tube.
The issue is the the metal flange is badly rusted...
I have a 1973 Johnson three-cylinder 65 HP motor on 1 1973 Glastron V165. I hit some sand in shallow water ther other day and now there is oil leaking from around the prop. It's leaking several drops a minute.
Obviously there is an oil seal behind the prop and I assume I damaged it. Can...
