i bought a manual but for the wrong year so i have a 88 dt85 and i need to know how to test the throttle valve sensor? when i test it, does the motor need to be running when tested? also how do i test the engine temp sensor?
I have an 88 85hp suzuki and on the front of the motor there is a knob that turns. i have no idea of what it is because the owner befoer me painted over the sticker. any help on the settings and what it is?
I have a 21 ft Gregor aluminum boat with an 85hp Suzuki and i can only go 30mph top speed. doesn't that seem slow, like there is something wrong with the motor. The boat is rated for a 70hp and i have an extra 15hp with the 85hp. any thoughts....
What gear oil can i use in my 83 Johnson 15hp gear case? Can i use 75-90w synthetic gear oil for cars? or do i have to go buy something special. And how much do i put in? Why can't i put oil in from the top screw?
