Has anybody ever tried Alumalloy brazing rods for leaky seams? I have also gotten the recommendation for Quickset 5200.

New owner of a 1988 TX 17 with some leaking problems. Boat is in phenomenal shape for its age. Does anyone one have experience using the alumalloy brazing rods to seal leaks in the seams with any aluminum boat for that matter?? I also have a recommendation for Quick Set 5200 around some rivets...
