After buying my latest project boat a 84 Renken 18.8 bow rider with a 2.5 omc I/O i would like to here the pros and conns of this engine. It runs great and seems to have been taken care of. I read several posts on these engines and would just like to see some coments on what i should lookout for...
Have a 2.5 OMC motor and out drive. I have noise coming from lower unit when i put her in forward and reverse. No problems with noise once in . Could this be a shift cable adjustment and if so how do you adjust it. Any help or advice would be great..:confused:
