i have a 1992 baja 180 islander with a 4.3 gen+ merc and a alpha one gen2 drive, i currently have a 14.5X19 prop and i can make it wash out or cavitate when going straight. I usally top out at around 48-49 mph i would love to break 50 and dream of hitting 55
i pulld the stern drive off of my transom the other day it was in nutral and it just popped off with out any help is this a good or a bad thing? It was untill i found this site that i found out it's supposed to be in foward
i have a baja 180 islander with a 4.3 merc lxh gen + and an alpha one gen 2 drive, i have to replace the gimbal bearing and i am wondering if i can just break the shaft apart to line everything up or do i need the tool
