    I get 002 or 003 on the 3/8 posts and a 1 on the left side of screen on multimeter....im getting 14 volts when i test the post that the batt. Connects to on solenoid and use ground on block...it was hooked up like the diagram and all was well....same now but not all is well haha....hmmmmm

    It clicks...if i touch jumper cable to the solenoid post between the starter and solenoid it turns the starter but nothing with the button...14.4 volts on batt.

    You mean run a ground between the solenoid and the block off wich small post?

    Heres a diagram of how it was and is now hooked up, now the solenoid just clicks when i push start button? Am i missing something??

    Ive tried to find those numbers for any year or model evinrude johnson for years and have came up with nothing.....good luck!

    Take your word for it....honestly id rather have a pre 90's omc over any new 2 or 4 stroke.....RELIABILITY! with very minimal maintnance....
