Hello. I am in need of help from someone who knows the correct connections that go to this solenoid. I sorta inherited the job and sure would appreciate some guidance. I have numbered the posts in the attached picture for easy indentification.

I am having some starter problems. I would like to know how I can test the solenoid to see if it is okay. Also, how can I determine if the starter itself is the problem? Any help is appreciated.
