    Yamaha F50LA Opinions

    Does anybody have any opinions about the F50LA? I'm thinking about buying a new one and want to know if there are any issues that people have had with them. Also, how much would be a reasonable amount to pay for a one? I think they MSRP is about $7500. Thanks

    What would you pay?

    I don't think I'm buying this engine but I'm curious about what anybody thinks a reasonable price would be; for a '72 50hp Evinrude electric shift that needs a new prop, carb rebuild, lower unit cleaning/grinding/smoothing, and impeller change. Also, it has no control box/wiring harness.

    71 Chrysler 85hp lower unit stuck on

    I have an '71 Chrysler 85hp that has a lower unit stuck on. I have removed it before with no problems. All the bolts are out, shift pin pulled. I tried a rubber mallet, jumping on it, pulling it with a winch, warming up the engine. Nothing has made it budge. Any secrets would be appreciated...

    Finding Trim Leak on Mercruiser 260

    I know I have a leak in the system because I keeping running out of fluid, problem is I don't know where it is. It seems to be in the outdrive somehow.
