Hi, anyone know if the shift shaft bushing on a '76 merc 850 is threaded to turn out counter clockwise? mine does not want to move,should i try to heat it up? Thanks for any Help;)
Hi Guys, I am attempting to remove everything from my 1976 850's lower unit , Everything was going OK until I got to the drive shaft I took the nut off the pinion and the snap ring off below the water pump housing but the shaft will not move, also can not get the shift shaft bushing?? out...
