    Mercury outboard wieght chart

    Hello, I’m looking for the weight for my 1975 500 and the weight of a 1981 800. Can anyone point me to a chart please? Checking to see if my boat will handle the extra weight. Cheers all!

    Mercontrol shift/throttle lever 75% travel limit now

    Found the problem, hard dry old grease at the distributor. Heat gun and fresh grease gave me the travel required for WOT. Cheers

    Hello all, this 1975 merc 500 starts, shifts perfectly fwd and reverse runs great. Took it out and found throttle will only move til the lever is parallel with the floor so maybe 75%. Took the cables off and the control lever goes full travel fwd and reverse. Any ideas on what might impede full...
