I'm trying to decide on a kicker motor and I'm looking at a used 2005 Mercury 9.9prokicker that was made by Yamaha and a 2008 that is made by Tohatsu. Anyone have any experience using both of these motors?
I plan on purchasing a new 2009 Mercury 9.9ELPT Bigfoot Prokicker motor. This is the 9.9hp with power tilt and foward controls. From my researching, if you use Mercury forward controls, you have to buy a $75 wiring harness adapter to go from mercury controls to the Mercury 9.9ELPT motor...
