    I made a long set of jaws for a 2 jaw puller, to get the forward gear race out. I also had to machine a split driver for the pinion race. If you are interested, I can post pictures. The tools are available at a high cost from merc.

    Thanks GA boater. I actually have that manual, but the specs don't apply. Thats the issue. The spec I need is for a 1987 not listed. Thanks for your effort.
