    1993 Mercury 135hp piston question

    Hi folks, I am replacing a broken piston on my 135..Apparently there were 2 different pistons for that year. My piston number is 765-7442 with the letter "A" above the numbers. The rod is 644-818141. The cylinder is not damaged, and I have honed it out..Any help with the Sierra part number would...

    1993 Mercury Clockwise Vs Counterclockwise

    Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but could I replace a clockwise rotating 135 V6 OB with counterclockwise one? Obviously the prop would be different..:confused::confused:

    1992 and 1988 Mercury 135hp V6

    Can someone tell me if a 92 and 88 135hp are interchangeable? I have a chance to pick up a 92 in unknown condition. I am wondering if I can interchange the major mechanicals,ie: heads, crank, etc..Thanks, Rich
